I manage the sound crew on the production. My specialty is words, production dialogue, automated dialogue replacement (ADR) and background crowd murmur. A challenging aspect about my role is making sure everything is at or above James Cameron's expectations.

Near the end of the final mix, Jim had us watch the scene where you meet Neytiri. We realized we were part of more than a movie, we were part of the magic.

The palpable awe of the audience, and the number of people I heard speaking about it in bars and restaurants was amazing.
