February 21, (THEWILL) – The Nigerian Aviation Handling Company Plc has been honoured with the prestigious Aviation Industry Champion Award by the Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority in recognition of its outstanding contributions to the aviation sector.

The award was presented during the NCAA’s 25th Anniversary and Gala Night, held in Abuja on Saturday, February 15, 2025. The Group Managing Director/CEO of NAHCO Plc, Olumuyiwa Olumekun, received the award on behalf of the company.

NAHCO was celebrated for its consistent innovation and service excellence in aviation handling, passenger services, and cargo operations.

The NCAA commended the company’s strategic investments in modern ground support equipment and its commitment to safety and operational efficiency, which have positioned it as a leading force in the industry.

The company’s multi-billion-naira investment in state-of-the-art infrastructure and continuous personnel training was highlighted as a key driver of its ability to provide seamless and reliable services for airlines operating in Nigeria.

Speaking after receiving the award, Olumekun reaffirmed NAHCO’s commitment to excellence and industry advancement.
