I oversee the assembly of live action plates combined with CG elements. My challenge is juggling multiple tasks at once. PostVis has it's own mini-pipeline in the production, we have trackers, compositors and roto artists in our department fielding requests for multiple sequences. It gets a bit hectic sometimes, but in a good way.

First job in film?
I interned and eventually worked my way up to compositing supervisor for a indipendant visual effects film called Heidi 4 Paws.
Most exciting thing about working on the sequels?
Pushing the boundaries of visual effects. James Cameron set the bar pretty high on the first one and it's awesome to see that he's raising it even higher.
Favorite memory from the first Avatar?
Team comradery, there were a lot of practical jokes played on one another. Oh and the shrimp eating contest of 2009.
