Empowerment: Sen Barau Gives Kano APC Supporters 1,037 Motorcycles, 63 Cars

February 23, (THEWILL) – The Deputy President of the Senate, Barau Jibrin, on Sunday, gave members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kano State 1,037 motorcycles and 63 cars in appreciation for their support for the party.

Presenting the vehicles at the Meena Event Centre in Kano, Senator Jibrin said the gesture was aimed at empowering members of the party to mobilise them towards victory in the 2027 general elections.

He stated that the motorcycles would be distributed to all APC chairmen of wards and local governments in the state.

He also announced that a special package for women, teachers, and other stakeholders would soon commence to ensure they benefit from the dividends of democracy.

“We are also planning to empower university graduates who were unable to secure white-collar jobs. Three individuals will be selected from each local government area and empowered with a loan of ₦5 million to enable them to start small businesses,” the Deputy President of the Senate said.

He commended the leadership style of the National Chairman of the APC, Dr Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, which he said had propelled the party to greater heights.

In his remarks at the occasion, Ganduje stated that the Tinubu-led administration is working tirelessly to improve the well-being of all Nigerians.

He also commended Senator Jibrin for donating the vehicles and motorcycles to the party officials, saying the gesture would significantly enhance the socio-economic well-being of the party’s faithful.

“We are proud of Senator Barau Jibrin because of the manner in which he is supporting APC members”, he said.

He added that the donation would promote the party’s ideals in the state.
