Designed for hunting tulkun, Pandora’s large whale-like creature, the SeaDragon is a large Wing-In-Ground-Effect (WIGE) ship. With a number of functions, the ship can operate as a surface ship at low speeds, but when it raises up on its hydrofoils the ship can fully lift out of the water and soar over the waves. Capable of reaching top speeds of 130 knots (150mph/241 kph), the SeaDragon is able to navigate even the roughest of seas and keep up with helicopter escorts. Equipped with an impressive range, the SeaDragon is able to travel many thousands of miles.
