An incredibly unique species in the pantheon of catalogued aquatic fauna of Pandora, these 4 ft (1.2 m) nautilus-like creatures have shared characteristics of Terran mollusks, octopi, squids and mudskippers. The Na’vi of the Mo'ara Valley, and the clans living near the Eastern Sea, have a particular affinity towards the Sagitarria. These clans make shields, arrowheads, knives, and beads from Sagittaria shells. A special skill of the sagitarria is that it can oxygenate not only sea water, but fresh water also.
